I came in with a head full of hair as it had been a long time since I got a cut and was growing it out. I decided the growing out process was too much for me so I booked an appointment with April, who went out of her way to make sure I was happy! She transformed my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted (fade cut and shorter up top). I was thoroughly impressed with her attention to detail and the time she took to make sure it was an excellent cut. April is amazing! I love this barbershop.

March 2025 update: APRILLLLL! Really appreciate my precise fun choppy short hair cut I get compliments all the time and make sure to tell people who did it and where I got my haircut. Love my haircut, firm head massage and shampoo & single process color by April! I see she's mentioned in some of the reviews here too. Wish I went to this shop months ago! Great experience. We are in town briefly on our boat for some repairs so I thought I would take advantage of a non-boat haircut. Max was great, he listened to my, likely vague, ideas and then took the time to do a great haircut. The place is hip, welcoming and provides great service. Highly recommend. March-2025 Edit: due to ongoing delays that keep us in St.Pete, I was due for another haircut. I went back and this time saw April, the manager. What a great experience. Great haircut and conversation. She runs a great shop.
I’m from out of town and was not able to get a cut from my regular barber before I left. I googled local barber shops and came across Machine Barber Shop. I’ve had the same barber for years so I was a little nervous having someone else give me a skin fade. I booked with John and he did a great job, had some good conversation as well. Would 100% come back next time I’m in town and need a cut.
Best haircut in my life with Max! He was very patient and understanding. I showed him photos of what I wanted, and he did an even better job in real life. He really took him time, and didn’t rush me. The hot towel, shampoo and conditioner at the end was a really nice touch! I had an amazing experience! Also, Rachel was great with the ear and nose waxing- very professional, and she made it quick and painless. Will definitely be back soon. Thanks again Max! You definitely exceeded my expectations.
